The Unicredit Tower - designed by architect Cesar Pelli - is part of a larger development of new residential and business structures in Milan's Porta Nuova district, near Porta Garibaldi railway station. With a height of 231 metres (758 ft), it is the tallest building in Italy, by now.
Gae Aulenti square - the circular pedestrian space surrounded by the new buildings - is the lively hearth of the development born after the Porta Nuova project.
ps: looking back at those spring days when we were wearing jackets - while now we have between 36 and 40 degrees Celsius in Italy and a really high percentage of humidity!
